Luxury hidden pool floor
This heavy duty movable pool platform can make the pool completely disappear. The top deck is tiled with any natural stone of choice. The thickness of the platform is only 250mm (10") depending on the requirements.
HOW DOES THE MOVABLE POOL PLATFORM WORK?
Depending on the type of pool and requirements WaveLift engineers can quickly design a movable pool platform that fits in your pool.
Suspended Platform
Most of our platform are suspended platforms, meaning the pool platform is suspend on 4 or 6 almost invisible cables. this way the platform can support more weight is stable.
Buoyancy design
Some of our platform are buoyancy platforms, meaning the platforms can float by itself. The mechanism pulls the platform down to the bottom of the pool and is released when the pool need to be closed. The main advantage is that the mechanism to move the pool floor can be hidden from view.
The mechanisms to raise or lower the pool platform
For existing pools where there is no space for a winch design and the top deck has a tile finish a hydraulic cylinder is mounted below the platform.
The hydraulic fluid is a mix of 60/40 blend of demineralized water food grade propylene glycol.
